Software Engineer
LOCATION: Sonnet Technologies, Engineering Division
Atlanta, Georgia

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creating installers, CD Images, and web download packages
Writing test code for engineering validation tests and product validation tests
Writing configurator applications
Writing various utilities such as flash ROM programming
Conducting product qualification testing of products
Conducting performance testing of products
Recreating bugs and analyzing problems
Testing pre-release OS and drivers in Macintosh and Windows environments
Supporting existing products

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

BSCS, BSEE or BSCE required. MSCS, MSEE or MSCE a plus.
C/C++ language proficiency
Unix shell scripting
Scripting Languages (python, perl)
Familiarity with the Unix operating system
Excellent Debugging skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

x86 and/or PowerPC Assembler language a plus
Apple Xcode development environment
Device Driver experience

Successful candidate will have 1+ years low level software experience and hardware focus. Familiar with C/C++, Unix, and kernel environment. PowerPC and x86 Assembler languages a plus.
