IRVINE, CA—April 11, 2008—Sonnet Technologies today announced a price reduction for the company’s award-winning Fusion™ line of high-performance SATA storage solutions for professional content creation and editing. Price reductions of up to $1,200 give users in the broadcast and post-production industries the opportunity to invest in the speed and capacity they want without compromising quality or performance.

The Fusion D400RAID system is available in 2TB to 4TB configurations in a reduced price range of $2,995 to $4,295, and the Fusion D800RAID system is now available in 4TB, 6TB, and 8TB models ranging from $4,495 to $6,995. Sonnet’s rackmount Fusion R400Q also is affected by new pricing, now available in 2TB, 3TB, and 4TB models ranging from $1,695 to $3,095. The greatest reductions have been applied to Sonnet’s higher-capacity models, making it easier for Fusion buyers to get maximum storage for their dollar.

Sonnet Fusion systems are based on cost-effective SATA storage devices that yield no compromise in either performance or reliability.
