The Crescendo/L2 G3 upgrade works great with your existing hardware and software and fully supports your favorite operating system up to Mac OS® 9.1.
Simple Installation
The Crescendo/L2 G3 installs in minutes with step-by-step, illustrated instructions. Simply install the Crescendo software, open your computer, then insert the upgrade into the Level 2 cache slot.
Technical Notes:
(1) Due to bus speed limitations, this upgrade card runs at top speed only in Power Mac 5500, 6500, and 20th Anniversary (TAM) computers. In other computers, upgrade will automatically configure to highest speed (depending on bus) ranging from 400-500 MHz with 1MB cache running from 200-250 MHz.
(2) The Apple® Geoport Express Modem is not compatible with a G3 processor.
(3) The Cache Doubler must be removed from the UMAX C600X.
