Description: This Mac OS software updates the firmware in the Sonnet Qio, Qio CF4, and Qio E3. This version updates Qio (part numbers QIO-E34 and QIO-PCIE, revision A - G) to be Windows-compatible, and expands the PC compatibility of Qio (part numbers QIO-E34 and QIO-PCIE, revision H and later). After the firmware is updated, the Qio will continue to operate as before with Mac computers. For this release, please click this link for specific PC compatibility for Qio.
Please refer to the Qio CF4 and Qio E3 product pages for specific PC compatibility information for those products.
Notes:
1) If you are updating an older Qio (part numbers QIO-E34 and QIO-PCIE, revision A - G), you must also use the Mac OS serial ROM flasher to make the Qio Windows-compatible.
2) You may need to run this updater twice. If the firmware updater is unsuccessful after the second attempt, please contact Sonnet support for further assistance.
