Description: This software informs macOS that the Echo 11 Thunderbolt 3 Dock and the Echo 15 Thunderbolt 2 Dock can provide 7.5W USB power, which allows the Dock's USB 3 port to: charge iOS devices at 7.5W instead of 5W; power the Apple SuperDrive; and power bus-powered USB peripherals plugged into an Apple USB keyboard. This software is not required for any other periperals or purpose.
This software is compatible with macOS 10.14-macOS 12. This software is enabled only when you first connect all the appilcable USB devices, and then hot-plug the Dock's Thunderbolt connection to the Mac. |
