Description: This release adds support for updating Sonnet Thunderbolt 5 to PCIe card expansion systems, and updates your product’s NVM to version 64.1 to improve general USB device reliability. This updater runs only under macOS; Windows users must use the Windows version of the updater. In addition to this .dmg file, download the Sonnet macOS Thunderbolt Firmware Update Procedure for complete instructions.
Notes:
• Before running the updater, you must disconnect all devices from your Mac host except for the dock or PCIe card expansion system you’re updating.
• If you’re updating an Echo 13 Thunderbolt 5 SSD Dock, you must also disconnect all downstream devices connected to the dock; the firmware updater cannot launch unless all devices are disconnected from the dock.
• Before running the updater on an Echo 13 Thunderbolt 5 SSD Dock, you must also unmount (eject) the installed SSD. | | |
