625 The Sonnet Dio USB 3 Media reader does not properly come out of sleep when connected to the Sonnet USB 3.0 ExpressCard/34.Sep-25-12
Explanation: For proper sleep/wake operation, USB storage devices need to have power maintained during sleep. USB ports typically maintain power during sleep, but an Expresscard/34 has no power source to maintain USB power during sleep and the Sonnet Dio Media Reader relies on bus power.

Solution: Unplug the Dio before sleep.

Wall-powered USB 3 storage operates correctly with the Sonnet USB 3.0 ExpressCard/34 through a sleep/wake cycle. The Sonnet Dio operates correctly through a sleep/wake cycle when connected to a native a USB 3 port on a windows computer or native USB 2 port on a Macintosh or that maintain USB power.
