• If you are updating your computer's Qio E3 software from version 1.1.7 or earlier, and you intend to update its OS from OS X 10.8.1 or earlier to 10.8.2 or later, you MUST install Qio E3 1.5.x software before upgrading the OS! For more information, see this FAQ .
• Apple removed USB 2.0 over Thunderbolt support beginning in OS X 10.8.2. If you are using the Qio E3 connected via Thunderbolt in 10.8.2+, and you need to support USB ExpressCard adapters, then you need to install the USB 2.0 Over Thunderbolt Patch .
• You must also install SxS device drivers to enable the Qio E3 to support SxS memory cards. |
