- A USB hub in a Thunderbolt Display does not enumerate in macOS. In an eGPU expansion system chassis, cold start and sleep function normally. However, after a restart, a Thunderbolt/USB-C monitor does not light until the USB-C/Thunderbolt cable from the GPU card to the monitor is unplugged and replugged.
- Requires an AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT card with auxiliary PCIe power cables for 2019 Mac Pro (sold separately); order one Sonnet GPU-CBL-MP.
- This GPU card implements advanced display protocols, making this card future-ready. Some of these protocols are not yet supported by some OS drivers and/or available displays.
- Some of these features are available only on Windows.
- Compatible only with latest model LG Ultrafine Displays–models 24MD4KL and 27MD5KL [introduced June 2019], and not with older LG models 24MD4KA and 27MD5KA [2016-mid 2019].
