- Documentation
- Charging rate varies according to overall power usage and battery level. When sleeping, any connected computer that supports Thunderbolt charging will be charged to 100% by the dock.
- Thunderbolt 2 and Thunderbolt 1 devices are supported by macOS when used with the Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter (sold separately).
- Thunderbolt compatible adapter required (sold separately).
- When connected to a USB4 Windows or Chromebook host, the downstream TB4 ports become USB4 ports with the same functionality as the host computer USB4 port — which may support one display or two; which may connect at 20Gbps or 40Gbps; and/or which may or may not support PCIe tunneling.
- The USB 3 specification limits the total number of USB 3 hubs, which, because of Thunderbolt USB architecture, is reached in the Echo 20 SuperDock. An external USB 3 hub (including devices with an internal hub, such as KVM switch, or keyboard with mouse connector) needs to be connected to a Thunderbolt port.
- ThunderLok 4 compatible specifically with Sonnet 0.7-meter Thunderbolt 4 cables.
