Metal enclosures can attenuate the Bluetooth signal from your Mac mini. Using an external adapter such as Sonnet’s Long-Range USB Bluetooth 4.0 Micro Adapter (plugged into the USB port on the front of DuoModo xMac mini module can improve its performance.
macOS 10.14.6+ supports both 512 and 4k block size SSDs, but macOS 10.13.6 supports only 4k block size SSDs. SSDs 1TB or larger are shipped from the factory programmed with a 4k block size. If you have smaller SSDs that are programmed with 512 block size, and you need to be compatible with macOS 10.13.6, you may need to reprogram your SSDs to a 4k block size. Technical Notes

Under macOS 10.14.6, a Mac mini is compatible with a DuoModo eGPU Module with Vega 56, Vega 64, WX 8200, and WX 9100. A Mac mini with a DuoModo eGPU Module with an RX 560/570/580/590 must be booted with a monitor connected to the Mac mini’s HDMI port. The monitor may be moved to the GPU after booting. This anomaly is fixed in macOS 10.15.7+.

For example, the AMD Radeon Pro W5700 has a USB-C Alt-Mode DisplayPort output.
8K displays require a GPU card that supports 8K displays.

When set to HDX compatibility mode, PCIe slots operate in PCIe 2.0 mode and the chassis’ bandwidth is limited to 1750 MB/s.
ThunderLok 3 compatible specifically with Sonnet 0.5- and 0.7-meter cables Thunderbolt 3 cables.
While the Echo III features a 40Gbps Thunderbolt interface, some computers equipped with Thunderbolt 3 use an x2 PCIe lane implementation of Thunderbolt 3 technology that limits PCIe performance to 20Gbps.
Full performance requires the use of the included or comparable 40Gbps Thunderbolt cables; look for the Thunderbolt icon AND the number 3 on the connector housings to identify these cables. Full performance supported by any Thunderbolt 4 cable.
Second Thunderbolt port supports Thunderbolt 2 and Thunderbolt peripheral devices on Macs when used with the Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter, sold separately.
Second Thunderbolt port supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gb) or Gen 2 (10Gb) devices when connected with proper cable or adapter (sold separately).
Assuming that a 40Gbps Thunderbolt connection is established, all Thunderbolt 3 computers support one 4K monitor directly attached to the pass-through Thunderbolt port, without affecting PCIe bandwidth to the device. Using two 4K monitors or a single 5K monitor attached to the pass-through Thunderbolt port reduces available PCIe bandwidth to the device. Two 4K monitors requires either: 1) for Thunderbolt 3 Macs or for Windows Thunderbolt 3 PCs that support two monitors—a Thunderbolt to Dual DisplayPort adapter; or 2) for Windows Thunderbolt 3 PCs that support two monitors—a 4K monitor with multi-stream transport support (DP out).
Power supply will operate as low as 90VAC, with linear power derating from 400W @ 115VAC to 320W @ 90VAC.
